What to Expect:

  • A gentle, beginner-friendly yoga session with loving goats

  • Time to bond with the goats for therapeutic cuddles and momentary joy

  • A supportive and welcoming environment focused on healing

Timeline

9:30 am - 9:45 am: Check-in, set up, goat cuddles

9:45 - 10:30 am: All levels goat yoga taught by a certified yoga instructor

10:30-11:00 am: Goat snuggles & posed photos with the goats

11am -12pm: Free community goat cuddle session to comfort those in need of snuggles

Let’s come together, uplift one another, and find comfort in the playful presence of goats. Reserve your spot today and join us for a session filled with warmth and kindness.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with cuddly critters and community.

GOATS WILL BE GOATS

  • Goats can leave their "blessings" anywhere at any time...LUCKILY they are vegan so their dry, coffee bean-like droppings are virtually scent free & biodegradable.

  • Participants who'd rather not have their yoga mats “autographed” by goats, can bring a beach towel to use instead or rent a used-sanitized yoga mat for $5 each.

  • Goats have no boundaries! Please clear away anything you'd rather not have climbed on, nibbled, or "blessed" by goats!

  • We recommend participants weigh at least 65 lbs.

  • Bring drinking water to stay hydrated.

  • Wear a shirt that protects your back from goat hooves.

  • Remove loose jewelry before participating.

  • We love all animals, but the presence of unfamiliar animals can be stressful for the goats; we kindly ask that you leave your pets at home.

LOCATION

Meet us at the welcoming studios of Anthony Meidl's Actor Workshop. Conveniently situated with plenty of free street parking and clean restrooms for your comfort.

Let’s come together, uplift one another, and find comfort in the playful presence of goats. Reserve your spot today and join us for a session filled with warmth and kindness.

About Us:

Get ready to meet the charming "kids" of Hello Critter Goats, lovingly cared for by Michelle, our dedicated "Goat Mama." For decades, Michelle has been on a mission to give pet goats the happiest lives possible, rescuing and rehoming at-risk, displaced, and mistreated goats. For Michelle, goat happiness is always the top priority!

These curious, clever, and social little adventurers love exploring beyond their cozy barnyard. Always up for a journey, they eagerly hop into their "barn on wheels" to meet new people, explore new places, and discover new sights, sounds, and smells. Their enthusiasm is contagious, bringing smiles and laughter wherever they go.

Only the most adventurous goats join Hello Critter events like yoga sessions, sound baths, hikes, and more. The others enjoy a relaxed day in their goat yard, complete with a custom-built clubhouse. Every goat in the Hello Critter family—Roscoe, Floyd, Billy, Burlap, Fanny, Lil'bit, Gigi, Hansel, Gretel, Goldie, Lexie, and our beloved Felix—is treasured and cared for with love and dedication.

🎟 Goat Waterfall Hike @ Altadena

Join our adventure-seeking former yoga-goats for a hike through a shaded canyon amongst boulders and trees.

We'll stop occasionally for water breaks and goat photos (ghotos)!

As seen in the L.A. Times : 18 relaxing things to do in L.A. when you just can't with the world:

FAQs

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
email:
hellocritteryoga@gmail.com
text Michelle: 213-448-4848

Where is the event located?
Nestled inside a quiet shaded canyon in Altadena. The address, details & meet up instructions will be disclosed to ticket holders.

Where can I park?
You need an Adventure Pass to park in the lot at the base of the trail. If you do not have one, you can purchase your adventure pass here on eventbrite as an "add on" or buy an Adventure Pass at most REI or Big 5 retail stores:

The adventure pass supports our public parks, so it’s well worth the price ($5 daily/ $30 annual)

What should I bring to the event?
Bring drinking water to stay hydrated. Wear comfortable clothing & hiking shoes with good tread that might get wet. Trekking poles or a walking stick can help your balance while crossing over slippery rocks. A fanny pack or back pack could come in handy too. Be sure to have your phone or camera ready to capture unforGOATable moments!

Is it okay to bring food?
You will have the opportunity to feed the goats treats that we provide. If you'd like to enjoy a picnic before or after the hike, there are a few tables at the base of the trail. Be warned: if you pull out food in front of the goats they will try to eat it before you do!

Are pets allowed?
NO. Please leave your pets at home - the goats can experience stress in the presence of unfamiliar animals.

What are the requirements to join the event?
All attendees must sign waivers before participating. Minors must be accompanied by a paid participant (parent or legal guardian). We recommend participants be comfortable with and capable of walking on uneven ground, through a creek , navigating slippery rocks, boulders, a 4' retaining wall and fallen trees.

How long is the hike?
About one mile to & from the waterfall. The hike takes approx 90 -120 minutes in total with stops for water breaks, conversation and pictures.

Is there a restroom?
Yes, there is a camp restroom onsite.

What if the trail is inaccessible or unsafe on the day of the event?
An alternative hike will be offered or, the hike will be postponed until another time.

What's the refund policy?
Since this is a rare and highly sought after event with extremely limited capacity, there will be no refunds offered. Tickets however, are fully transferrable. If the event is cancelled or postponed, you may request a credit for another Hello Critter event of equal or lesser value.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes, please email hellocritteryoga@gmail.com to let us know the name of the person(s) attending in your place.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, show us a screenshot of your digital ticket on your electronic device.

Are pictures allowed?
Yes! Take as many photos as you like during the event. Share your most unforGOATable moments by tagging @hellocrittercare on Instagram!

By purchasing ticket(s) to this event, you agree to defend and hold harmless Michelle Tritten in the event of any claim that arises from attending this event. There will be a release of liability for all participants to sign before embarking on our adventure!

Thank you for your support, your purchase helps contribute to the health and happiness of our critters : )
